The Best of British!

November 2, 2016

Isn't it lovely to know that your dress for your special day is handmade with love? It's especially nice when you know the money you are paying is going straight into the pocket of a hardworking lady and not a huge cooperate company! We think its really important to offer you the option to buy local should you want to, and so over at The Bridal Emporium we have a huge selection of local British designers. Let us introduce them to you now:

Claire Amelia British Bridal Designer

We are sure you have all heard of Claire Amelia by now, owner of The Bridal Emporium in Leeds and creator and owner of her own bridal collection. The wedding dress collection was launched by designer Claire Amelia, after studying for 5 years in fashion, tailoring and historical costume and then going on to work in the wedding industry in some fabulous bridal shops in Yorkshire she was besotted with weddings.

Having a love for vintage, she found herself collecting vintage treasures and before she knew it she was selling vintage gowns to brides to be. This brought on the Bridal Emporium and her dream to start designing her own collection of couture  gowns, knowing that brides love to be different on their wedding day.

Claire has a stunning collection of bridal dresses, two-pieces and of course her ever popular multi-way dresses which are available in off white as a relaxed bridal dress or of course make the perfect bridesmaid or prom dress! Prices for a Claire Amelia bridal dress are around £1,300, with mix and match two pieces coming in at around £900-1000 for the set. You can bag yourself a multiway dress for between £160-180 depending on length, making it a very affordable option for your special girlies!

Claire also creates a huge selection of accessories including headwear and veils so be sure to check them out on your next visit!
