Wowsers! What an exciting week we've had. You may have seen that we've been prepping away for our 'Let Them Eat Cake Photoshoot' and all the magic came together this Monday! Shooting in the gorgeous Hazlewood castle, the word majestic was an understatement. With the most extravagant dresses, cakes and decor, this is one shoot you do not want to miss out on. Here's a sneak peak of our behind the scenes action shots - but be sure to keep your eyes peeled for the final photos <3
A cheeky little selfie to kickstart the day was of course obligatory! Shannon, Stephanie and Claire-Amelia all here representing The Bridal Emporium, and our fabulous photographer Drazen from Soulmate Wedding Photography.
You can even catch a quick glimpse of our stunning 'model bride' Rebecca! Our other two gorgeous bridesmaid models , Kennedy and Jazzmin, are having a cheeky lunch break so keep your eyes out for the final photos.
Our own Claire-Amelia has been busy all week designing and hand making the most extravagant boho show dress (we've managed to sneakily conceal it in this photo mwahaha!) Here's a little sneak peak of the beginning of the jaw-dropping train:
We were not short on cake! The smell was just amazing and our stomachs were rumbling all day. They were literally too pretty to eat! Just a sneak peak of the fabulous collection from Zoes Fancy Cakes <3
(Although we did have to have a quick nibble!)
We felt like true filmstars with the fabulous Catherine Elizabeth Hair and Makeup Team on hand - I don't think I've ever seen so many brushes in my life!
Such a glamorous shoot, with every last detail finished off to perfection by the wonderful Pamella Dunn and her team! Everything from huge, vibrant bouquets to the sparkliest of table cloths to funky pink wigs!
And weren't we blessed with the most gorgeous weather? In between shots we managed to get a quick bit of vitamin D whilst all the models and photographer, Drazen, did all the hard work!! Although to be fair, Ellie and Grace from MacComms PR were pretty busy with interviewing all our fabulous suppliers!
You may notice a few cheeky bubbles in a few of our final 'party' shots - well we had no fancy bubble machine I assure you - instead Shannon our intern found herself a useful job and was promoted to chief bubble-maker! Such fun! (Despite the serious face - we think the pressure got to her)
It was a truly fabulous and fun day with some fantastic shots being taken. A proud moment for all our independent and local Yorkshire suppliers. But we can't give too much away now can we? You will just have to wait and see.... who knows, maybe we will hit some blogs and magazines!
Until next time my lovelies,
